Recovery typically takes 1-2 weeks, with the first few days being the most physically restrictive. Pain medication and compression garments can be used to help manage discomfort during initial recovery.
After about 6 months, the final results of the non-surgical BBL can be seen. There may be residual swelling for 9-12 months. However, patients should maintain a stable weight and use massage and other therapies to optimize fat retention and longevity of results.
