During the procedure, PRP is extracted from your blood and then injected into the scalp to promote hair follicle regeneration and strengthen existing hair. This safe and effective treatment helps improve hair thickness, density, and overall health with little to no downtime. Ideal for both men and women, PRP offers a natural solution for fuller, thicker hair.

 

Here's what can typically be expected during a PRP hair restoration treatment:

 

  1. Blood draw: A small amount of your blood will be drawn, usually from your arm.

  2. Preparation: Your blood is processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma.

  3. Scalp preparation: The treatment area will be cleaned and may be numbed with a local anesthetic.

  4. Injection: The plasma is injected into the targeted areas of your scalp using a fine needle.

  5. Massage: The doctor may gently massage your scalp to equally distribute the PRP.

  6. Completion: The treatment is repeated until all targeted areas have been injected, which usually takes 60-90 minutes.

  7. Aftercare: You'll receive instructions for post-treatment care, which may include avoiding hair treatments or vigorous scalp massage for a few days.
