What to Expect

Lip filler injections are minimally invasive and typically take about 30 minutes to perform. 
A trained physician assistant will work with you to determine the amount of filler needed to achieve your desired results. Once you are happy with the treatment plan, your practitioner will clean and numb the lip area with a topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort. A very fine needle will then be used to inject small amounts of the gel filler in specific spots of the lips to achieve the desired shape and fullness. The injections are spaced out and injected slowly to ensure even distribution and natural-looking results. There is some minor swelling and tenderness expected after the injections, but this usually resolves within a few days. Most patients are able to return to normal activities immediately after.

While results are visible right away, full effects are seen after the swelling has completely subsided, usually within two weeks. With Kysse lip fillers, patients can expect improved fullness, shaping, and definition that lasts 6-12 months before a touch-up is needed.
